Top 5 countries where to go for a summer vacation

Man thinks and COVID changes. This is how we could describe the last year and a half in the case of many of us. Our travel habits have gradually changed. We got used to filling out various forms and testing before and after returning from vacation, canceled flights or quarantine, and we started looking for safer and more suitable forms of travel - such as traveling by car.

However, the year 2021 brought one of the most important weapons in the fight against COVID-19 - THE VACCINE! In addition, the European Union recently approved the so-called COVID passport, which should make traveling around Europe much easier from July. Furthermore, the epidemic situation has stabilized in most popular European holiday destinations.

Where to go for the sun this summer?

1. Your HOME COUNTRY is still the best choice!

Despite the fact that the conditions of entry into many countries are currently very favorable, your home country is still the safest option for summer vacation. The risk of infection is currently very low.

Whether you are a lover of history and wandering around the city, or you like to visit the mountains or water areas, in your home country you will definitely come to your senses and you may discover new charming places that you have not even known about until now. In addition, the risk of COVID-19 is currently very low, and you don't have to worry about your entry conditions again during your vacation.

An ideal car for traveling within your country is that you can comfortably transport literally from one side of the country to the other within a few hours. If you don't have your own, just rent a car for a few days!

If you still decide to supplement your vitamin SEA this summer, we recommend that you choose one of the following countries:

2. Greece

Greece is one of the most popular holiday destinations this year. It is characterized by many beautiful islands, a pleasant climate, a clear sea, and greenery. Thanks to favorable entry conditions and low ticket prices, Greece is the ideal choice for this summer. If you have not been to Greece yet, we recommend you visit Corfu, Zakynthos, Crete or Rhodes and explore these islands by car, which can be rented in each of these destinations.

To enter, you need: "Passenger Locator Form" completed and sent no later than 24 hours before entering the country, a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours), a negative antigen test (not older than 48 hours), or a confirmation of vaccination (both doses of vaccine), confirmation of overcoming the COVID-19 disease.

3. Croatia

Croatia is a long-standing classic of European holidaymakers. This is no different this year, and there is no need to introduce this country in any special way. You can get to Croatia by air or train, but the most popular is to travel by car. If you do not have your own car, you can rent a car online at one of the portals specializing in car rental.

To enter, you need: a negative PCR test result (not older than 72 hours), a negative antigen test (not older than 48 hours), or confirmation of vaccination with both doses of vaccine, or confirmation of overcoming the COVID-19 disease.

4. Malta

If you imagine an ideal holiday as a place with beautiful beaches, turquoise sea, blue lagoons, or rich history, Malta is the right choice for you! Ticket prices to Malta have fallen sharply in recent years, increasing interest in the island state in the Mediterranean. In terms of transport, Malta has a relatively dense bus network, but you will need a good amount of patience to travel by bus! Local buses are used to delaying and every stop is a sign. Since the drivers drive fast, you will definitely miss a stop here at first :) A more convenient and reliable option is to travel by car, which we recommend you rent right after your arrival at the airport.

To enter, you need: Confirmation of vaccination with both doses of COVID-19 vaccine, children under 12 years - negative PCR test result (not older than 72 hours).

5. Spain

There is no need to introduce Spain in any particular way. This country is a popular travel destination for Europeans throughout the year. It attracts modern cities such as Barcelona and Madrid or beautiful islands. As in other European countries, the current epidemic situation in Spain is very favorable this year, thanks to considerable progress in vaccination.

To enter, you need: Valid passport or ID card.
